Camelot

Poor little B looks like he’s turning into unicorn boy and his horn is trying to push out his forehead. The man who coined “goose egg” for a knot on the head obviously never had a toddler in an unfortunate accident involving siblings, a stroller, and a concrete driveway. Otherwise, I really think the term would be “dragon egg” or something else more descriptive of the monstrous beast growing on my son’s head. Obviously more concerned with his well-being at the time and not wanting to capitalize on a very horrible situation, this picture was taken a day later, so the swelling has gone down considerably. It was bigger than I could ever have imagined. It protruded from his head at least an inch and was even larger in diameter. Many ice packs and a couple doses of ibuprofen later, it's looking comparably better. Even so, I don’t think I’d be too surprised if he started sprouting wings…!
