Sunny Skies... and black eyes.
It's a nice warm day, so we decided to enjoy spring break
with some paint...
pretty painted pictures and a pretty-ouchy painted eye...
(Yep, that's Blessing #5 sporting a shiner,
courtesy of the bar stool he flipped.)
Painting was so much fun, there is now much talk
of "growing up to be an artist" by B#s 1-3.
B#4 just liked swirling the brush in the paint.
"Ohhh, an illustrator for a book!" says B#1. "That's what I can be!"
I think the final products are quite striking!
They are all really proud of what they've done...
after the pictures are dry, we'll have to get them hanging
on the bedroom walls.

I love the art!
wow! those are great pictures! did you draw the pics out or did they do the whole thing? The fairy and the horse are so good! What a great idea to paint on canvas so you could hang them up! We dyed Easter eggs today and then with the leftover dye we tye dyed bandanas and went to the zoo!
