Camping!

Sometimes we get so caught up in the big things of life that we forget to take notice of the little ones. It's often these that make life beautiful, and these small details are the tidbits in my day that bring me joy and make me laugh. It is for that reason that I'm sharing with you my LaughterThoughts. I hope these little reflections of my life bring you much joy and laughter, too.

I'm a mom to seven blessings- 5 girls and 2 boys! Welcome to my zoo- my little monkeys keep me entertained with all they do and all they say. I have a non-stop long-term and often very tiring job taking care of my seven zoo babies- There is an incredible responsibility being Monkey Moma... it may not always be an easy job, but it's definitely a very rewarding one! I give much credit to my loving, supportive, and hard-working husband. I could not do the things I do without him. My husband and my kids are gifts from God, and for them I am truly grateful! "My beloved is radiant and ruddy, outstanding among ten thousand" -Song of Solomon 5:10; "Behold, children are a gift of the LORD. The fruit of the womb is a reward." -Psalm 127:3

Camping!
3 Comments:
I love the camping pictures, the little munchkins look beat by the end, but still, B#4 managed to help clean up before leaving, so cute!
Hooray for family camp! It looks like fun! The rafts are adorable! Was that a project or spontanious creativity? Okay, I have to ask, how can you wear a sweatshirt every day and still swim in an outdoor pool? Family camp for us was short sleeve weather, and the pool was still freezing! (my kids still swam, though). Hope the rest of your summer is just as fun!
notice that it was mainly KIDS in the pool! and the older girls didn't just swim... they did the polar bear swim at 6:30 in the morning when it was even colder. and on top of that, the pool water is mountain snow run-off and it's not heated. crazy kiddos.:)
the rafts are a tradition-- built every year from whatever you find outside (+ the electrical tape and twine!)(earn a critter for the top by saying a verse) and they're raced down the creek. we all stand on the rickety bridge and watch to see whose makes it down first.
