Snow play
When we headed to school yesterday morning, it was snowing like crazy. When I picked up the olders from school, it was snowing like crazy. What else do you do when you have a snow day? You have a snow play day after school lets out in the afternoon!
The kids had a blast! They were reluctant to come inside even after it was dark. In fact, Blessing #5 cried when the fun was over because it was time for dinner. They tromped around the front yard- making snow crabs (similar to snow angels), building snowmen, and sledding. They also had fun throwing snowballs at the fence. B#5 spent a lot of his time eating the snow. As a snowman was going together, he was picking off bites. Also note B #4's winter attire... capris and snow boots.

I sooo miss snow. I grew up in Kansas, and we snow every winter. Real snow! I totally feel like my kids are missing out. My 12 year old has probably made 4 snowmen in her whole life. 2 of them in Kansas City while visiting family. It looks like you had a blast! If we ever get a good snow, I'll have to try making snow crabs...
That looks like so much fun! We live in Texas so we don't get to have that kind of fun.
Wow - look at all that snow - did you get a snow day today? I have had my girls wear capris also while playing in the snow - you would certainly think they were related, huh!!!
