This is not a McDonald's advertisement.
This is my kind of weather. It has been warmer the last few days, and I'm so excited for the arrival of spring.
Besides enjoying the warmth of it, my zoo runs way more efficiently when it's not 5 degrees outside. The zoomobile takes a lot more effort and planning to load when I've got to worry about bundling up my troop with coats, scarves, gloves, boots.
And warmer weather means that, when the monkeys hop in the car barefoot, we can use all those spare sandals on the floorboard. I guess that also means that I've got to clean out the kazillion coats, hoodies, pullovers, and sweaters hiding all those sandals!
Blessings #s 1&2 have been busy
I am finding a multitude of mini-scarves all over the house.
Before we picked up the girls at school yesterday afternoon, I took the littl'uns out the back gate to enjoy an unusally warm, sunny, and non-windy afternoon at the park. (It actually got to 70 at our house!) It was wonderful.
B#5 found the one puddle that still remained from an earlier rain and from across the way, I spotted him splash splash splashing away in it. He thought it was an absolute blast. He was so proud of himself that he ran over with a huge grin plastered across his face... to plaster little dirty handprints on my pants.
I am definitely eager to welcome the warmer weather!
But, alas, you may need to remind me I said that when I'm fussing about incubating a baby when it's 110 degrees outside.

the moves of the little guy
Turn on some music, and the kid starts movin' and groovin'.
This boy can dance.
(Yeah, you've gotta turn off Chris Tomlin if you don't wanna hear two different audio tracks at once!)

8 on the 5th
I was told, at the time, that the cupcakes were "like the best thing" I'd ever cooked.
(If that gets-in-the-way-of-my-slide-show
"sign-up here" box pops up, just hit the X and close it!)
