Broken Hearted

Sometimes we get so caught up in the big things of life that we forget to take notice of the little ones. It's often these that make life beautiful, and these small details are the tidbits in my day that bring me joy and make me laugh. It is for that reason that I'm sharing with you my LaughterThoughts. I hope these little reflections of my life bring you much joy and laughter, too.

I'm a mom to seven blessings- 5 girls and 2 boys! Welcome to my zoo- my little monkeys keep me entertained with all they do and all they say. I have a non-stop long-term and often very tiring job taking care of my seven zoo babies- There is an incredible responsibility being Monkey Moma... it may not always be an easy job, but it's definitely a very rewarding one! I give much credit to my loving, supportive, and hard-working husband. I could not do the things I do without him. My husband and my kids are gifts from God, and for them I am truly grateful! "My beloved is radiant and ruddy, outstanding among ten thousand" -Song of Solomon 5:10; "Behold, children are a gift of the LORD. The fruit of the womb is a reward." -Psalm 127:3

I TOTALLY love how you put that heart cake together. Sorry the first one fell apart. I HATE when that happens. I line my pans with parchment now just because that was always happening to me. I'm gonna copy your cake for V-day!
i am glad that i am not the only one with a cake disaster blog story - thanks for posting your pictures!! can't believe we have to spend another birthday without you guys!
Ooohhh... that first cake is scary. Second is pretty though! Happy birthday blessing #1! My first is turning 8 in less than 2 weeks! I know the AAArrrggghhh!!! Feeling.
The finished product turned out so sweet! I hate it when stuff like that happens . . . best laid plans and all.
Oh, man...you poor thing with that first attempt!
But I'm sure she'll love the second one! :D And my oldest turned seven last seven and I know what you mean about it seeming so...big!
A Happy Birthday to her! :)
