I (heart) Christmas Carols

The heart in breakfast's poached egg....

I figure this is up there with the smiling eggs and chicken pancakes!

Runny nose? Tissues are on the table.

There must be a reason the empty tissue box is sitting on the kitchen counter. Before collapsing the said box for recycling, I suppose one should first ask for permission. Otherwise, Blessing #3 might throw a fit, fuss a little, and throw it in the trash instead.

"Why'd you do that, Moma? That was my guitar!"

Several minutes later, when being serenaded by Jingle Bells on the drive to school, take time to consider the sound of said Christmas-in-April jolliness... and contemplate from where the rubberband music is coming.

Because when you get home, you might discover that your little musician has jumped the collapsed-kleenex-box hurdle and has still managed to construct a new guitar.

Now I need to dig in the trash and tape the first box together. It will be recycled... just not in the way I initially expected!

Unfortunately, tissues don't go back into the box as easily as they came out of the box.
